Sven BornemannSven Bornemann

Sven Bornemann and Marco Frodl are managing directors at Smarthouse Media. Sven Bornemann has more than 25 years of experience in the areas IT and Online.

Prior to his start at Smarthouse, Sven Bornemann held executive positions with several media companies and agencies. He established the online ad network Adconion Media Group as Managing Director for the European markets Germany, Switzerland and Austria. Before joining Adconion, Sven Bornemann headed the publicly listed online agency Concept! AG, as well as the German interactive division of the global ad agency Ogilvy as CEO. He also was member of the board of Ogilvy in Germany. Prior to these positions Sven Bornemann worked as IT consultant for Bertelsmann Media Systems.

Sven Bornemann had studied Computer Science and Business Economics in Constance, Germany and London, UK.

Marco FrodlMarco Frodl
Managing Director


Marco Frodl forms the management of Smarthouse together with Sven Bornemann. Before that, he has been responsible for the technical development of Smarthouse has Head of the IT department since 2003.

Marco Frodl gained his technical know-how during his studies in Business Informatics with a focus on banks and insurance companies in Berlin. Furthermore, he attended comprehensive technical trainings in order to keep informed about state-of-the-art in the fields of administration, maintenance and introduction of new IT solutions.

Markus WiethegerMarkus Wietheger
Head of IT


Markus Wietheger began his career at Smarthouse already in 2004 as Software Developer and afterwards became technical project manager. In 2008, he became Vice Head of IT.
Today, he is Head of IT and in charge of the technical development of Smarthouse. Furthermore, he is responsible for the conception of new products, the planning of trainings as well as customer acquisition.
Already during his studies in Informatics he had a strong interest in the internet and the stock exchange.

Timo BöehningerTimo Böhninger
Head of Key Account Management


Timo Böhninger joined Smarthouse in May 2006. After his studies in International Business at the FH Pforzheim he worked as Project Manager and Consultant for several renowned companies.

As Head of Key Account Management he focuses on the planning and implementing of customer projects. By means of expertise and team work he supports all processes of a project and thus acts as a mediator between the customer and the service provider. Being the head of a strong team he supervises the development of projects for international clients in daily team activities.

Due to his profound education and his extensive know-how Timo Böhninger is particularly in charge of international customers from UK and US.
